There are a few members who have been a part of organising this eWIT Students' Convention

Ms. Kalyani Narayanan
Ms.  Kalyani Narayanan, Principal Officer and CEO, www.easyinsuranceindia.com, brings more than 25 years of experience in IT and management of which she had worked 6 years in the U.S.
Prior to her own startup, she served as the CEO of Allfon Systems Private Limited, Chennai, which is an American subsidiary, for over 5 years.
She has also been a part of delivery management of Covansys (now called CSC), where she was responsible for two of its Fortune-100 clients.
She is the current President of eWIT (Empowering Women in IT).  She believes in woman power and has spoken in several colleges and various forums on women centric topics and career.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston, Houston, Texas.  She is a PMP (Project Management Professional) from PMI.  She has successfully completed the Executive Management Program from IIM – Bangalore in 2007.

Ms. Indira Jagan

Head - Products, at CoRMS, an Asset and Infrastructure Management product that covers the entire life cycle of all fixed asset.  

Indira has over twenty (20) years’ experience as a first generation entrepreneur, in co-founding and growing Value Software Technologies (VAST), a multi-technology IT firm in India, which started as a project services company but over the last four years pivoted to a pure product company. Over the years she has managed various responsibilities in the firm covering Marketing, Product Build, Finance, Administration and Infrastructure establishment, 

Currently as Head-Products, she is responsible for all activities pertaining to CoRMS, an Asset and Infrastructure Management product that covers the entire life cycle of all fixed asset.  

Prior to this, Indira had over seven  (7) years’ of experience in a variety of roles covering collegiate teaching, industrial  research for a MNC,  research at an overseas University, industrial products marketing and general administration in an IT services firm. 

 

She is one of the founder members of Empowering Women in IT (eWIT) and currently an Executive Committee member in charge of its academic initiatives. 

 

Indira holds Masters and Pre-Doctoral degrees from a leading Indian university, besides which she has undergone specialist training in Entrepreneurship, Finance and General Management during her employment and her entrepreneurial journey. 

Ms. Jayalakshmi Thirugnanam

Jayalakshmi Thirugnanam is the co-founder and whole-time director of Ascenders Technologies Private Limited. 

She takes care of key business units such as HR Outsourcing, Sales and internal support functions. In 2008, she co-founded Ascenders Technologies, along with her spouse, Dr. K. Thirugnanam. 

Jayalakshmi is respected as a motivational, lead-by-example manager, change agent, and proponent of empowerment and accountability. 

She is also a key contributor to enterprise-level planning, high-level operational initiatives and decision-making. 

She faces complex business challenges and makes high-stakes decisions within fast-paced, high-pressure environments using experience-backed judgment, innovation, strong work ethic, humor, and integrity. 

Her leadership style is predominantly collaborative and so, inspires teamwork and performance.

She holds a Master of Philosophy degree in English Language Teaching and is currently pursuing an MBA. She is also an ISO Lead Auditor. 

Ms. Latha Ramesh, Vice President, Classle Knowledge Pvt. Ltd

Latha Ramesh is VP at Classle Knowledge Pvt. Ltd. and governing council member of eWIT.

Currently she is an Exec Committee Member – eWIT and Academic Initiatives

She is a management graduate from University of Madras. She has around 30 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, in various capacities.

She has extensive experience handling different portfolios that include : managing software development, maintenance, education & training, infrastructure, pre-sales support, resource loading, quality and process improvement.  

She was associated with  Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), USA for over six years as an International Technology Consultant. She has also consulted AIDS Prevention And Control Project, a USAID project, Tamilnadu AIDS Initiative (Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation). 

Former Chairperson of Computer Society of India, Chennai Chapter and former Chairperson of Chennai SPIN (Software Process Improvement Network)

Ms. Bhuvaneswari

Diverse experience in administration ranging from premier educational institution, pharmceuticals, Resorts organisation, Windmill manufacturers as well as a mobile application company

Currently, Admin Excecutive - eWIT an NGO servicing Women in IT for 3.5 years as Admin Executive

She is a graduate  from Madras University and Post Graduate Diploma in PR from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chennai

Ms.Lakshmi Narasimhan

Independent Marketing Professional
 

Lakshmi Narasimhan is a multifaceted professional with a diverse set of accomplishments spanning her academic years & her stint in Corporate India

A Sales & Marketing professional with a Management degree from a Premium BSchool in India; she has worked for the biggest consumer products company in the world as well as a leading Indian IT MNC.

Currently, Member of eWIT

An aspiring writer for the Children’s Entertainment sector – Film, TV and books aimed at children in the Indian subcontinent; 

Having been trained in Carnatic Music and Bharatanatyam, she is passionate about both. 

She strongly believes in evangelizing the richness of Indian Art and Culture for the Indian children.
